Isopropyl Ethyl Thionocarbamate is also known as O-Isopropyl Ethyl Thianocarbamate and its molecular formula is C6H13NOS It is an amber or dark brown oily liquid which is sparingly soluble in water . This chemical has many industrial uses but it is most commonly used in flotation processes of mining industries.Used as a good collector for copper,lead,zinc,molybdenum and other metal sulfide ores, both with foaming. It has weak collector for pyrite but good selectivity for copper and a special efficiency in separation and can reduce the amount of pyrite suppression of lime required, with less pollution, because insoluble in water, it can be added to the ball mill use is appropriate.
